This lovely rose candle is named after my grandmother. She loved roses, and after she passed in December, a single rose bloomed in the middle of February on my backyard rose bush. That rose was all yellow with a single spot of pink on one petal, which happened to be the exact way a rose was portrayed in a watercolor I did as a teen during a painting lesson with my grandma. There wasn't another bloom on that bush until mid-May, and none have ever had a random spot of pink. Since this painting has always been hanging in my art room where I pour all these candles, creating a rose candle seemed like a fitting way to honor her memory.
